Caprone by the Leather Collection comes with its 56 leather colors is a designer’s best friend.  Color consistency, durability and easy care makes Caprone a perfect choice.  Usually leather color is all about brown, but Caprone gives you a far reaching color pallete.  Caprone is practical and has a soft draping hand. You can have a soft color with a tough finish to accent any area.  Caprone hides are  a .9-1.1mm thickness in order to accent the drape and hand of this leather.  The selection of raw material for this leather is a combination of European and Brahma hides.  They are selected because of the quality of the surface of the material and the large size.  After tanning Caprone hides are dyed using water-based dyes to set the base color and then specific pigments are applied to give the leather its final color.  Caprone is a top grain leather that is vacuum dried to give the surface a tight even grain.   A protective topcoat is applied to the surface to ensure the leather is durable and easily cleaned.
